Polkadot fellowship Member, and a full-time engineer and Parity Tech. Gladly contributing to the Polkadot ecosystem since Feb 2019.

My personal agenda for 2024 is to improve the usability of Polkadot-SDK from the lowest levels, and ensure all the information that both myself and my colleagues retain has been written down in organized and well maintained resources for future developers of Polkadot-SDK. I hope to finish this high level goal by the end of 2024 and move on to a new venture in 2025 🚀

Next to that, I am continuously assisting with the development of Polkadot Runtime components, such as FRAME and the Staking sub-system.

Salary

While I have inducted myself into the core fellowship, I do not intend to claim my salary. This is mainly because I am being paid for my contributions to the Polkadot ecosystem by Parity, and don't seem it fair to also claim my fellowship salary.

Moreover, while many of my Parity duties overlap with Fellowship duties, I am undoubtedly not fulfilling my fellowship duties 100% because of my commitment to Parity objectives.

If and when my responsibilities at Parity reduce, such that I end up doing more of the core fellowship duties as my primary role, this decision will change.
